A Little Story
N3tSensors Platform is the newest brand by NumbersAgain, Lda. (a 100% Portuguese company).
We designed and developed of a suite of software modules prepared to interact with all types of probes & sensor systems witch is distributed and supported through a partners network around the world. The platform is executed by an appliance (physical or virtual), with access by a simple browser in a multilingual mode, for the authorized and authenticated users. The opportunity for this suite of software was detected, when we found the following issues:
DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS
Sensor Manufacturer Independent
Can aggregate data generated from probes and
sensor systems, produced by different manufacturers. Also, can integrate, in an
unique dashboard, and delivered as a single presentation (via browser) to the
end-user.
Web-based & Multilingual
The access to the available information is performed through a secure browser with user authentication (Tablet/Smart-phones included), on the desired language, from any place in the world trough an Internet connection.
Mixed Units Measurement
The mix and match different measure units at the platform is possible. As an example, the dashboard or the graphic generator can present at the same time, the multiple room temperatures (ºC or ºF), the relative humidity (%) and the CO2 value in % or ppm.
Connections & Gateways
It can be linked, upstream, with several physical media (ex: wire, wireless) and protocols (TCP/IP mainly), as well as downstream, with other Alarm, Quality's and Building Management Systems. The information presented (Events) could be sent by SMS, Email or Voice systems, depending on the administration's group choices.
